Welcome
September 2007
In Memory of our friend Catriona.
In September all of us here in St. Anne's said our farewells to Catriona Clancy.
Catriona was a greatly loved pupil of our school. She had been sick for a very long time, but even so she hardly ever missed a day in school. Catriona was a very special child with an infectious good humour and a maturity way beyond her years. Her unfailing courage was an inspiration to all who knew her. We'll never forget "Bandana Day" which was started in the school by Catriona and is now a Barrettstown National Fundraising day!
So it was a sad start to the new school year, especially for 3rd class, but our memories of Catriona are all good ones.
Catriona touched the lives of all she met and she will always be remembered by her friends in St. Anne's for her big smile and her big heart.
